The Bridge to the Doctorate program is designed to cultivate the next generation of PhD-educated scholars from backgrounds that are typically underrepresented in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Our program at UIC, like other branches of the Bridge to the Doctorate around the country, is funded by the National Science Foundation.
